When does the 2022/23 WSL season start?

Originally scheduled for 10/11 September, the start of the 2022/23 season was ultimately delayed by a week when the opening round of fixtures was postponed out of respect following the death of Queen Elizabeth II two days earlier.

When does the 2022/23 WSL season end?

The final round of fixtures for the 2022/23 WSL season will take place across the weekend of 27-28 May.

Highlights from that weekend include Chelsea traveling to Reading, Arsenal hosting Aston Villa, Manchester City welcoming Everton and Manchester United's trip to Liverpool.

The final day of the 2022/23 WSL season is three weeks later than the conclusion of the 2021/22 WSL season. As a result, the final day of the league campaign will signal the end of the 2022/23 domestic season, as opposed to the FA Cup final.
